Mason Proffit - Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream (1971 Ampex)

Very listenable country rock. CSN&Y with a flavour of Byrds and Grateful Dead. Isn't that something?

Guillotine - Guillotine (1971 Ampex)

This is blueshardrock with jazz-prog-psych flavour. The female vocalist sounds a bit like Janis Joplin. I mostly like it but here and there I get a scent of something artificial in her way of singing. Interesting but not much above medicore.

Cheryl Dilcher - Special Songs

This is very beautiful folkrock from a American female singer-songwriter. Her second album Butterfly may be more known than this. This is a great and I think a quite unknown album that should be more known. With no doubt. I love this and so you should do it too! Most beauttiful piece on this is "Do I Have To Wait It Very Long". Love to this one.

Bethlehem Asylum - Same (1971 Ampex)

I like this mellow jazzy southern rock. I'm not sure if southern rock is quite right definition to this music. Especially because of the side two, which is very jazzy. My favourite piece is 14 minutes long, zappaish Tales From The Citadel.
