When I listen to Jan's Blues, the first song of the album I get some recalls from Nick Cave's and Kylie Minogue's: Where the wild roses grow. From Rea Who Died last Summer, begins like Leonard Cohen's Susan... Very classy singer-songwriter folk. This one of those albums which should without any doubt have got more attention.
